Yes, we go to Zone Conference thinking all is well and our suit case gets stolen out of the church. The church is on the second floor of a building downtown Zagreb. Who would think someone would come up there looking for something to take. Oh well, I hope with all the church material we had they'll get curious about the church.
We actually had a great conf. We gave our car up, so rode the train home with the missionaries. It was an easy 40 min. walk home without having a suit case to haul. Look on the bright side of things helps.
We love our new missionaries. We have a very young group. It will help them get this language down. Gaylon and I are plugging alone and getting by with the language we know. Malo po malo. Little by little.
We had 18 at church today. Not bad, but if they'd all come at once we'd have a large group. The less active fellow we've been working with...spoke. It was great.
Well, it has been cooler. That is a good thing.
We love it here and love these people. It will be great when everyone comes home from the sea and vacations. We want to get the foundation of this Branch built so bad. They need to rely on each other and let the missionaries be their support. This is our goal.
