Last week we left on Mon. to go to Zadar. Elder and Sister Prince are there and we went to talk about the up and coming Senior's Conference. Zadar is a four hour ride from Varazdin. Tues. we dove another two hours to Split. The RS Pres. of the Zadar Branch took us on a tour of the city. It was a great day and very interesting. The Old Roman Castle there was built in 295-305AD.
We were able to walk all through the old ruins. We also had lunch by the sea and a nice walk there. The weather was great and we had a great time.
That evening on the way back to the apt. we stopped by the sea in Zadar and listened to the Sea Organ and walk the pier.
Wed. after a relaxing morning we headed back to Varazdin.
It's so fun to get to know these other couples and share missionary experiences. We went to a great FHE in Zadar.
All is well here. The work is very slow. I had a chat with Cami yesterday though, and her work seems to be going great.
